Sev Laddu – ಶೇವ್ ಉಂಡೆ

Sev Laddu is a traditional specialty, particularly popular during Naga Panchami. It combines the crunch of yellow sev with the rich sweetness of Kolhapur jaggery and pure ghee. Unlike standard sweets, this laddu includes Dry Ginger (Shunthi), which gives it a unique “zing” and helps with digestion after heavy festive meals. It is an excellent source of instant energy.

ಶೇವ್ ಉಂಡೆ (ಶೇವ್ ಲಾಡು) ನಾಗರ ಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಿಶೇಷ ತಿನಿಸು. ಗರಿಗರಿಯಾದ ಹಳದಿ ಶೇವ್, ಕೊಲ್ಲಾಪುರದ ಬೆಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಹಸುವಿನ ತುಪ್ಪದ ಮಿಶ್ರಣದಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಣ ಶುಂಠಿ (ಶುಂಠಿ ಪುಡಿ) ಮತ್ತು ಏಲಕ್ಕಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ಇದು ರುಚಿಕರ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಜೀರ್ಣಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೂ ಸಹಕಾರಿ. ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
