Sapthagiri Karadantu – ಕರದಂಟು

Karadantu is a traditional sweet made using jaggery and a mix of dry fruits. It has a firm, chewy texture and a rich taste from the nuts and jaggery. This sweet is usually prepared at home during festivals or special occasions and can be stored for several days.

ಕರದಂಟು ಬೆಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಶ್ರಿತ ಒಣಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಸಿಹಿ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ, ಚಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ತಳಹದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಲ್ಲ–ಒಣಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ರುಚಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಸಿಹಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಮನೆಯ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಿಸಿ, ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಸೇವಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
